Does anyone have any information on John Charles Robinson, known as "J C", born around 1843, or about his descendants? He was a Captain and Commodore in the Merchant Navy (Union Castle) and became a Marine Superintendant at Southampton Docks. He died in the 1930s but had moved to Bournemouth by then. He was a very religious man, hence the "J C", and held religious meetings at his house in Southampton. His daughter Annaliese Robinson wrote religious books for children ("The Prince and the Road" was one.) He was my great-grandfather's elder brother.
