IT was love at first line dance for Dot and Trevor Healy.

The couple met 14 years ago on a night out with mutual friends in Andover. He was so impressed by her moves on the dancefloor, he proposed just 16 days later!

During their blissful 13-year marriage, Trevor has continued to treat Dot like a princess.

“I always say he’s the combination of old fashioned gentleman and new age man,” said Dot, 54.

“He holds doors open for me, holds hands when we are out, buys me flowers often and chocolates to cheer me up.

“He always has a cup of coffee waiting when I come home and when I get back I find he’s done all the ironing or vacuumed.”

What’s more, dock security worker Trevor does all the cooking and washing up so Dot doesn’t have to lift a finger.

He even surprised her with a whirlwind trip to Paris and a romantic cruise for her 50th birthday.

“We always kiss hello, goodbye and goodnight,” added Dot. “He is thoughtful, considerate and patient and always seems to know what I need or want even before I do. He is just an all round, all day, everyday loving romantic.”
