A PUB singer has been told he faced no charges after singing 1970s disco hit Kung Fu Fighting in front of Chinese people.
It is thought the passer-by on the Isle of Wight was offended by the lyrics on Sunday and complained to police.
Simon Ledger, 34, from Shanklin, who performs in a pub in Sandown was later arrested – in a Chinese restaurant.
But after answering "street bail", to be quizzed on suspicious of causing racially aggravated harassment, alarm and distress, no charges were brought.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: “Anyone who perceives they are a victim of a racially aggravated crime is entitled to make a report to the police and we will treat a report seriously.”
