A CHILDREN’S charity is keeping its shops across Hampshire open despite the Royal Wedding so its customers can follow in the footsteps of royalty.
With Prince William and Kate Middleton asking for donations to charity instead of wedding gifts, Barnado’s wants its supporters to go through their wardrobes and give them any unwanted clothes.
The charity will be keeping its shops including those at Bitterne, Bitterne Park, Gosport, Hythe, Lee-on-the-Solent and Totton, open over the Bank Holiday weekend, including today, for the public to donate.
Money will help vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people in the UK who could be dealing with issues such as drug misuse, disability, sexual abuse, poverty and homelessness.
