POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a pensioner was killed in a crash in the New Forest.
A 71-year-old man from Verwood, in Dorset, died after his silver Vauxhall Astra left the road on a left-hand bend and overturned.
He had been travelling west along an unnamed road between Cadmans Pool and Ocknell Plain.
Details of the incident, which happened on Sunday, April 17, shortly before 7am, have only just been released as police investigate.
The man died at Southampton General Hospital on Tuesday.
