A HAMPSHIRE MP will be the guest of honour at the launch of a new network to support elderly residents.
Eastleigh MP Chris Huhne launches the Eastleigh Older People’s Network at a special event at The Point theatre in Eastleigh next Friday from 1.45pm to 4pm.
Supported by Eastleigh Borough Council, One Community, Age Concern, The Salvation Army and a number of community and cultural associations across the borough of Eastleigh, the network will provide information, advice and support to older residents.
The event will include an art exhibition by members of Enjoy Sharing Art, a tea dance display led by Age Concern Eastleigh and a performance by The Point Youth Dance Company.
