Roadworks to start on major route

SAFETY improvement work is due to start on the A34 near Winchester next week.

The Highways Agency is permanently closing the lay-by facilities on the north and southbound carriageways just north of the M3 Junction Nine interchange at Winnall, to ensure the safety of both pedestrians and motorists.

Starting on Monday, work will be carried out overnight to reduce disruption and should last three weeks with lane closures between 10pm and 5am.

Well, when I read this story in yesterdays Echo the problem was that the Mosque had been given a gas bill of £18,000 + The gas board eventually were billed for £10,000.

Now you try getting a similar discount on your bill...

The reason why the Echo is not allowing comments, I leave to your imagination.

Interesting point. Bet they would have allowed comments if it had been a church or a school or a nursery!

I hope it does stay open, the moderate Muslims at the University need somewhere to pray...

The reason for no comments being allowed on the Mosque story is yet another ECHO policy of racism..
They claim to be non-racist, non-sexist, etc.
But watch the stories closely and they don't allow comments on any like stories.
But COE churchs they will,,,,
Very discriminating,, bet they will remove this comment and email me wiht a warning..
Point proven if they do. !!!!!

The reason you can't comment is
glaringly obvious.
