THERE should be tighter rules on age limit classifications on DVDs, says Winchester MP Steve Brine.
He wants to close a loophole where many documentaries and sporting videos are not given a classification.
The rules, drawn up in the 1980s, also exclude some music videos going before censors.
Mr Brine said: “When the current law was passed a sport video was little more than a re-play of the FA Cup final but these days it can mean extremely violent wrestling or bare knuckle boxing matches, where people really get hurt.”
He said he would be lobbying the Government to close the loophole.

steve - People are out of work, heading in to poverty, the country is broke and crime is rising, I doubt anyone gives a tosh about DVD classification.
