Cyclist still fighting for life
A CYCLIST was last night still fighting for her life in hospital after a crash in Southampton city centre.
The 28-year-old woman remains in a critical condition in Southampton General Hospital after she was left with multiple injuries after she was in collision with a van in Marsh Lane.
Last night the 23-year-old male driver of the Mercedes Sprinter van, who was uninjured, was said to be in “shock”
and “turmoil”.
The incident happened close to the City Commerce Centre, an industrial estate near Central Bridge, just after 9am on Tuesday.
