HIGH-ranking clergy from the Greek Orthodox Church of Great Britain gathered in Southampton for the church’s annual convention, the first to be held in the city.
Priests, bishops and his eminence Gregorios Theocharous, Archbishop of Thyateira & Great Britain, were due to attend a service at The Greek Orthodox Church of St Nicholas in Bernard Street today.
Delegates yesterday enjoyed a meal at the city’s La Margherita restaurant, owned by prominent city businessman Nikos Raftopoulos, and paid a visit to Winchester Cathedral.
