LEAD worth £300 was among items stolen from a building site.
The thieves gained access to the site in Braishfield Road, Romsey, and stole lead from the completed houses.
They also took £700 worth of brass and copper plumbing fittings, a vacuum worth £800, a chasing tool for cutting wires, a cutting machine worth £500 and a battery for a drill valued at £70.
The thieves struck some time on Saturday night.
