A teenage girl has been treated for serious back and neck injuries after a traffic collision in Hampshire.
The 19-year-old, from Fareham, was treated for her injuries at the Queen Alexandra hospital, following the accident on Downend Road, Fareham, on Friday evening.
She was in the passenger seat of a green Vauxhall Corsa, travelling towards Cams Hill, when it collided with a black Vauxhall Corsa, just after 8pm.
The driver of the green Corsa, a 22-year-old female from Waterlooville, and the driver of the black Corsa, an 18-year-old female from Fareham, both escaped unhurt.
Police have described the condition of the 19-year-old passenger as “stable.”
Officers have now launched an investigation into the crash and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
