Thief returns ashes to victim
A GUILTY thief returned to the scene of a break-in – to return the ashes of his victim’s father.
The remains were in two small jewellery boxes taken along with jewellery items during a burglary at Fir Tree Close, Horton Heath on April 19. Police believe that when the thief realised what was inside, they returned the items the next day. Detectives are looking for a white man in his mid-20s with a tattoo on the right side of his neck.
