Alan Whitehead
SOUTHAMPTON Test MP Alan Whitehead has been named "MP of the month" after campaigning on the city's port expansion.
Total Politics Magazine said the Labour MP had fought "several bureaucratic bodies" to ensure the go-ahead after a protracted legal battle.
The Marine Management Organisation finally gave the green light to the £150m project earlier this month.
