A BUS driver was caught driving through a red light in Southampton.
Tony Ray drove a First single decker bus through the light two seconds after it changed to red, Southampton Magistrates Court was told.
A camera was triggered as the bus, that was empty of passengers, drove through traffic lights at the junction of Northam Road and Brinton’s Road in Southampton on November 17, prosecutor Julie Todd said.
Ray, 33, of Southampton Road, Eastleigh, was not in court to face the charge which was proved in his absence.
He was given three points on his licence, fined £200 and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge and £85 in costs.
