FOUR men arrested in connection with the murder of a Southampton crane driver have been released on bail.

All four had been arrested in suspicion of “conspiracy to commit murder” early yesterday morning as part of the investigation into the death of Agim Hoxha.

Detectives questioned the men throughout the day at police stations across the county but have now release them all on bail.

The 34-year-old man from Southampton is due to answer bail on July 30, the 33-year-old man from Winchester has been bailed until July 31, while the 36-year-old and 56-year-old from Southampton have been bailed until August 2 and August 1 respectively.

Mr Hoxha's body was found in a burnt out silver Mercedes car in Chilworth Drove, Southampton, on April 10.

Arben Lleshi, of Onslow Road, Southampton, has been remanded in custody after being charged with the murder of 29-year-old Mr Hoxha.

He appeared at Winchester Crown Court on Monday where he was remanded in custody until July 31.

Afrim Lleshi, 37, of Shirley Road, Southampton has been charged with perverting the course of justice. Lleshi is currently on remand and is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on June 19.
