TV PERSONALITY and entertainer Christopher Biggins has taken on a new role – as a Celebrity Ambassador for the Enham Trust charity.
The I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here star has been recording a fundraising video about a major refurbishment project to turn Enham’s Resource Centre into a thriving internet cafe and social centre for the charity’s disabled residents.
Peta Wilkinson, Enham’s chief executive, said: “Christopher had everyone in stitches with his jokes.
“He came all the way down from London to help us with our new capital appeal project.
“We’re so lucky to have him on board.
“But the best thing was how much time he spent chatting to our residents.
“I think he’s made a number of new best friends.
