A 15-year-old girl from Hampshire has been charged with theft from a motor vehicle.

The teenager, from Hedge End, has been charged by police following a number of arrests in the area.

Two more teenagers, both 17-year-old boys, were also arrested on suspicion of theft from motor vehicles and handling stolen goods, during the police raid on June 19.

One of the boys was charged with handling stolen goods, while both were bailed until August 9 for theft.

Damien John Kitcher, 26, of Chettle Road, Thornhill, appeared in court today charged with two counts of handling stolen goods.

Another man, 34-year-old Michael Lavergne, from Radley Close, in Hedge End, will appear before magistrates on July 4 under the same charges.

A 44-year-old man from Hedge End and a 45-year-old woman from Bursledon were given cautions for handling stolen goods and a 20-year-old woman from Thornhill was also arrested.

The arrests come after police recovered a large quantity of stolen goods including satellite navigation systems, laptops and sunglasses.
