A SOUTHAMPTON man who carried out a drugs-related robbery at a Shirley sandwich bar where he stole £155 in cash, was further remanded in custody.
Chris Stopa, defending, described the record of Matthew Amos as “extensive” but said he had not committed an offence as serious as this before. Judge Derwin Hope said: “I accept this is way outside things he has done before.”
Amos, 27, of Shelley Road, Calmore, pleaded guilty and will be sentenced at the city crown court on July 27.
