A Winchester woman has appeared in court accused of benefit fraud totalling more than £38,000.
Alison Cook, 37, of Upton Grey Close, Harestock, has been accused of five counts relating to child benefit.
She was remanded on unconditional bail by Andover Magistrates’ Court to appear at Winchester Crown Court on July 27 and for a plea and management hearing on October 5.
