FIREFIGHTERS were this morning still at the scene of a fire that ripped through a barn in Hampshire.
Seven fire crews were deployed to tackle the blaze that broke out at the barn in Portsmouth road, Fisher’s Pond, just before 10am yesterday.
Three quarters of the single story barn, which was used as a storage building for farming equipment including a tractor, was destroyed in the fire that was eventually extinguished at 2.30am.
Fire crews were still damping down this morning. The cause of the fire is not known.
