A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital after a collision with a car on a main road.
The man was knocked off his bike at the Bursledon Bridge on the A27.
Motorists experienced delays as the road was partially blocked after the crash, which happened at around 4.55pm.
The cyclist has been taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution, but it is understood he was not seriously hurt.
Police said the road was due to fully re-open at around 5.45pm.
