TWO children had become so unnerved by a burglary at their home their sleeping pattern became unsettled and they kept asking their parents when the man would return, Southampton Crown Court heard.
Their house was one of six Clinton Webb had entered, principally by smashing a rear window, to plunder jewellery, cash and electronic items, leaving the places in disarray.
Prosecutor Adam Feest said Webb was caught committing one break-in on close circuit television installed by the owners after a recent burglary and he had also left his DNA on a half-drunk carton of milk discarded in undergrowth at the rear of the property.
In a second he left bloodstains on a bed.
Webb, 49, of Lumpy Lane, Southampton , admited two burglaries and asked for four others to be considered.
He was jailed for three years.
