POLICE have named the two men who were killed in a serious road accident on Tuesday night.
Danny Hayward, 20, and Leon Richards, 46, both died after their vehicles collided along Lushington Hill, in Wooton, on the Isle of Wight.
Mr Hayward, from Cross Lane, Newport, who was riding his white Yamaha R6 motorcycle died at the scene, but his 18-year-old pillion passenger survived the crash and was discharged from hospital yesterday.
Mr Richards, from Wooton Bridge, Ryde, who, was driving his light blue Toyota Rav4 4x4, died in hospital six hours after the collision, which happened just after 11pm.
Officers are still appealing for witnesses who either saw the crash or the vehicles leading up to it.
