VANDALS have forced a children’s play park to close for repairs after they painted the entire area blue.
Spray paint was used to write racist and obscene language on two cars, footpaths, walls of businesses and homes, a post box and a lamp post as well as the play park.
At least eight roads and footpaths around the Nelson Road area of Newport, Isle of Wight, were targeted.
