A CRASH between two vans has forced the closure of a major Hampshire road causing traffic chaos for motorists this morning.
The two vans collided on Mansbridge Road, close to the White Swan pub, just before 7.25am, blocking the carriageway in both directions.
Emergency services have closed the road to allow firefighters to extricate one of the drivers from his vehicle by cutting off the roof.
Neither driver is believed to be seriously injured but one is suffering from chest pains.
Officers are currently on the Wide Lane roundabout and Allington Lane roundabout directing motorists away from Mansbridge Road.
Recovery vehicles are currently on the scene and police hope to have the road reopened by 8.45am.
