POLICE have released this new image of a man they are hunting, after a would-be robber held up a Southampton arcade.
The closed-circuit TV image has been released after a man sneaked in through the back door of Slot Casino at Above Bar Street, before threatening a female employee with a 6in knife.
Despite being threatened with the blade, the woman refused to open the safe and the would-be robber fled empty-handed in the direction of Sussex Road, East Park and Palmerston Park.
The suspect is pictured wearing a black hoodie, a black flat cap, dark trousers and a bright yellow back pack.
The new image comes after detectives released a shot of the suspect riding a black mountain bike along Above Bar Street towards Guildhall Square shortly before 9am last Tuesday.
He is described as being about 6ft tall and white.
