THE Daily Echo has teamed up with local garden centre Haskins to launch a Summer Gardens in Bloom Photo Competition to capture the best of these end of summer days.

There is a top prize of £200 in gardening vouchers for the best image and the snap will be professionally framed for you to keep the memory of summer 2012 in your garden alive forever.

The closing date for entries is September 10 when the top ten photos as chosen by our panel of judges – including the Daily Echo’s picture editor Paul Collins – will be displayed at Haskins Garden Centre at West End for visitors to vote for their final winner.

We will be publishing some of the best entries in the Southern Daily Echo and on our website.

To enter the competition send your images to the Daily Echo at picdesk@dailyecho.co.uk with your name and contact details or mail them to Gardens in Bloom Competition, Photographic Desk, Newspaper House, Test Lane, Redbridge, Southampton. SO16 9JX – and also upload them to the Haskins website at haskins.co.uk where terms and conditions can be checked.

Happy snapping!
