POLICE are appealing for help locating a man who has been missing for 11 days.

Javan Tutton, 44, was being treated for anxiety at Antelope House, Brinton’s Terrace. He was last seen at about 11.30 am on the Thursday, September 11, when he was allowed to take a short walk alone.

Investigations have failed to find Mr Tutton since he left Antelope House. He has family ties at Blakeney, Gloucestershire, and previously has spent time in Winchester , Bournemouth, Poole and areas of Avon and Somerset. Enquiries at these locations have failed to find him. He may be sleeping rough.

Because he is without medication, there are fears for his state of mind.

Mr Tutton has thinning dark hair, brown eyes and is of medium build, but thin. When last seen, he was clean-shaven, wearing a white and blue long-sleeve chequered shirt, grey trousers and a black baseball cap. He carried a rucksack.

Anyone who has information about Mr Tutton’s location or who has seen him since September 6 is asked to contact police at Southampton on 101.
