Police done good! - another drug dealer off the streets, good arrest. Lets hope the courts come down hard on him!

Hope the officers are on the mend.

@sotonlad, how is this a good news story?, 2 injured police with the compensation/sick leave that they are entitled too. The offender, a minor street dealer would have been replaced within minutes.
The big crime lords will take those odds all day, as the recession drags throughout 2013, they have another half million potential dealers, the police on the other hand are just wasting more resources on an unwinnable war. 2 officers: 1 dealer. I look forward to the police comisionar role starting, they will get weekly correspondence from me on this completely pointless policy that just criminalizes people at the very bottom of society.

Are you saying that the police should have left this poor harmless drug dealer alone to get on with his business to save the tax payer paying for two injured police officers????!!!
Wow you are so right, whilst we're at it why dont we stop arresting people who do muggings because they are small fry compared to bank robbers.
Lets let all the thugs who beat people up on a Friday night down the pub get on with it as they are just small fry compared to murders....in fact why dont we just get rid of the police force apart from the Serious Crime Squad.
Are you standing in the next election, cos you get my vote!!!
