HAMPSHIRE’S Fire and Rescue Service is to be boosted by a new deal with a neighbouring service.
The agreement between Hampshire and East Sussex has refreshed a previous arrangement and means the two services can request support for each other during large-scale incidents until the end of July 2014.
John Bonney, chief officer for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “This agreement will allow both services to provide further valuable assistance at times of the greatest strain on our resources.”
