North Baddesley Thai massage parlour approved

Thai massage parlour
PLANS to turn a former florist’s into a Thai massage parlour were backed by councillors last night.
Written objections to the proposal for the building in Botley Road, North Baddesley, had claimed it would attract “undesirables”
and pave the way for “dirty book shops and sex shops”.
Concerned neighbours had written to Test Valley Borough Council fearing that people may get the wrong idea and assume there may be “sexual activity involved”.
But husband and wife William and Wandee Ford, who will run the parlour, have said they will simply be offering an ancient form of treatment for muscular aches and pains.
Members of the council’s southern area planning committee unanimously approved the proposal last night saying that the venture would bring business and jobs to the area on a site that has been vacant since 2010 and be a useful facility for the community.

Some people need to get a grip and realise the difference between genuine massage for relaxation / muscle theropy and "happy finish" massages.

No different to a beauticians that offer massage in a back room.
or Sports theropy that offer massage inside.
I may be missing something (and stand to be corrected) but unless this is a "you wan happy finish extra £10" dodgy massage house itll be a bonafide establishment with customers of all ages and sexes going in to get releif for their bad backs, shoulders and and knotted muscles.
In which case itll be no different to children walking past the one in Chandlers Ford shops or even the osteopath massage place on Hiltingbury Road in Chandlers Ford.
