A SOUTHAMPTON man caught drink-driving on the M3 has been banned for 20 months.
William Cassell, 62, of Winchester Road, Shirley, admitted driving a Ford Fiesta with excess alcohol in his system near Basingstoke on September 9, magistrates heard. He was more than double the legal limit.
Cassell was also fined £110, and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £50.
