The Tigers: Sisters’ bye to Ben and cheer for Billy

CHEERING the boys home, these two sisters had just said farewell to their elder brother Ben Skelton who deployed to Afghanistan yesterday.
Becky and Jess Skelton, from Bassett, stood with handmade signs bearing the name of his friend Billy Macguire who was taking part in the Tigers’ homecoming parade through the city.
Ben, aged 19, is serving with the regiment’s 2nd Battalion and is one of 140 soldiers who were sent out to the frontline.
Becky, 17, and Jess, 14, said: “We just wanted to come and see Billy and show our support because they do a good job.”
