READER Gemma Elliott was the lucky winner in a Daily Echo competition to win an exclusive dinner at Emmerdale studios plus overnight stay.
Delighted Gemma took her mum Estelle for the tour around the Leeds home of the Yorkshire Television soap.
They even had a chance to meet some of the members of the cast of the long running programme, which recently celebrated its 5,000th episode.
The competition was provided courtesy of Eastern Airways, which flies form Southampton International Airport to Leeds, Bradford, Newcastle, Aberdeen and Angers Loire in France.
During their visit the pair were treated to a delicious five-course meal, a tour of the studio and a pub quiz in the Woolpack.
They also met some of the star characters including suave Romeo, Rodney Blackstock (Patrick Mower), Emmerdale vicar, Ashley Thomas (John Middleton), Home Farm resident, Jimmy King (Nick Mills), and also Jimmy’s half sister, Scarlett Nicholls (Kelsey Beth Crossley).
