CHRISTMAS dinner is sorted for Kev Hewer and his family – and he could not have been more delighted.
The 38-year-old Fawley refinery worker has won a dinner hamper supplied by Upton Butchers of Bassett, Southampton, as part of our Win Christmas with the Daily Echo.
His prize is a 12lb turkey, 1lb of award winning chipolatas, 1lb of home smoked streaky bacon and one large home-made championship pork pie after he entered on the spur of the moment.
“I saw it in the paper and decided to have a go.
I’m really surprised to win,” he said.
Kev, his partner Emma and their two children, Megan, seven and Josie, six, of Rushington near Totton, will be taking the turkey to Emma’s grandparents in Stubbington where 15 family members will gather on Christmas Day.
