Roping in support for rescuers
A CLIMBING centre has come to the aid of two Hampshire rescue organisations.
Southampton Climbing Centre, based at St Mary’s Leisure Centre, hosted the fundraiser which raised £720.63 to be shared between the RNLI and the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
Around 50 visitors enjoyed scaling the climbing wall before sitting down to view the latest climbing adventure film from the Reel Rock team – Valley Uprising, a film about the birth of the climbing scene in Yosemite Valley, California.
