Uni staff step up to join the SunWalk

THERE’S no stopping these enthusiastic fundraisers from putting their best feet forward.

The staff from Southampton Solent University are hard in training after signing up to the Celebrity SunWalk in the city this month.

Not only is the university putting a team together but students are helping with publicising the event on April 24. Maggie Moss, enterprise and delivery manager, said: “We have had a great response not only from staff to participate, but from the students who have designed posters and hope to volunteer on the day.”

The walk encourages men and women of all ages and abilities to complete either a 5km or 10km route around the city. It will start and finish at Mayflower Park.
