Daily Echo: Burglar strikes at home Burglar strikes at home

A neighbour called police after spotting a burglar inside the house next door but he had managed to flee with a haul of goods before they arrived.

The thief stole more than £1,500 of jewellery and electronics including three rings and an Ipod Nano when he broke into the house in Weston Grove Road, Southampton.

The man was wearing a blue top, thought to be a hoody, and struck on Thursday November 15 just before 4.30pm. Anyone with information is asked to call DC David Wheeler at Bitterne CID on 101.
