Police plea to man in schoolgirl slap claim
POLICE have pleaded with a man to come forward after he was caught on camera by a girl who claimed he had slapped her.
Officers say they would like to hear from the man so they can determine exactly what happened during the alleged incident involving a schoolgirl.
The picture, released by police, was taken by the alleged 11-year-old victim, who claimed the man had struck her during an incident on a footpath between Oasis Academy Lordshill and Cromarty Road, as previously reported by the Daily Echo.
A spokesman said: “We would like the man involved to come forward to give his account of what happened.
“This will help us determine the exact circumstances of what happened.”
Anyone with information can contact PC Stewart Forrester at Shirley police station on 101.

Did the police pass this picture to the head teachers of local schools before publishing it in the paper etc?
If hes got any sence he would have binned that adidas hoodie by now!
Would have been better to catch him wearing it in school!
