A BRONZE statue was taken from outside a house on the Isle of Wight.

The 12-inch high statuette, which depicts a Roman horse and rider, was stolen from the front garden of a house in Furrlongs, Newport, sometime between midnight and 9.47am on Sunday, May 26.

Anyone with information should call Newport police station on 101.
