Hunt for thugns after vicious attack
POLICE are hunting thugs who viciously assaulted a man on a Southampton estate.
A 33-year-old man suffered serious injuries when he was set upon in a late night attack in Irving Road, Millbrook.
He being treated in Southampton General Hospital for severe leg and head wounds.
The attack has angered many people living in the Millbrook community who have set up a tribute page to him on the social networking site Facebook and are in the process of setting up a collection.
Officers are investigating, but have yet to establish the description of his attackers.
