A WOMAN charged in connection with the murder of Pennie Davis appeared at Winchester Crown Court today.
Leanne Doyle, of Beech Crescent, Hythe, is charged with assisting an offender and perverting the course of justice.
Judge Guy Boney QC today informed the 24-year-old that her next appearance will be at Winchester on December 18 for a plea hearing.
She remains on conditional bail until then.
The body of Penelope Davis, 47, known as Pennie, was found in a field at Leygreen Farm, Beaulieu, on September 2 by her husband, Pete.
A post mortem examination concluded that the mother-of-five, who is thought to have been tending her horses when she was killed, died of multiple stab wounds.
Justin Robertson, 36, of no fixed address, has been charged with Pennie's murder and is currently remanded in custody ahead of the same December hearing.
