A TEENAGER lost his teeth after two robbers hit him in the face with a dumbbell.

The 17-year-old victim  was walking from the cashpoint in Beauworth Avenue, towards Fritham Road, Harefield, when he was approached by two offenders.

The offenders told the victim to hand over his phone and wallet, and when he refused one of the offenders punched the victim in the face.

The other offender then hit him in the face with what is described by police as a dumbbell.

The victim fell to the floor where he was kicked. Both of the offenders then ran off empty handed, towards the shops on Beauworth Avenue.

The victim was left with missing teeth and deep laceration to his head. He was helped off the floor by two men, and officers are keen to speak to these people.

Police have released two descriptions of the the attackers.

The first is described as white 6ft tall, and wearing a grey hoodie and black tracksuit bottoms or dark blue jeans. He had facial hair on his chin

The second is described as black, over 6ft and of a quite skinny build. He was wearing a black hoodie with a logo on one side and dark blue jeans or black tracksuit bottoms. He had a little bit of stubble on his chin.

PC Paul Rose, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident, and in particular would like to trace the two members of the public who helped the victim after he was attacked. These people may have vital information that could assist our inquiry.”

The incident happened at 1.30pm on Monday, November 3 although details have only now been released.
