Thieves steal dozens of gas tanks in industrial estate raid
POLICE are hunting thieves who stole dozens of gas cylinders from a Hampshire industrial estate.
Thieves made off with 41 propane gas bottles after raiding a business on Nursling Industrial Estate.
They were stolen from Rapid Industrial Gas, just off Andes Road.Police say the thieves forced their way into the business between 8pm on December 2 and 7.15am on December 3.
A police spokesperson said: “If anyone has been offered any propane gas cylinders on the cheap please get in touch with us.”
Anyone with information should call 101 and quote the crime reference number 44140431888 and ask to speak to PC Robert Forbes from Romsey Police.
