A man has been charged after a football fan confronted Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger during yesterday's Saints match at St Mary's.
Luke James Bryant of Bankhill Drive, Lymington has been charged with an offence of going on to an area adjacent to the playing area contrary to the Football (Offences) Act 1991, and is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on January 22.
As reported by the Daily Echo, late on during yesterday's 2-0 Saints win over Arsenal, a fan ran in front the the visitor's dugout and gestured at Arsene Wenger and his staff.
The 25-year-old was arrested following the incident late in the match and was questioned by police before being charged.
