THE jury trying a man accused of blinding a Southampton mum with acid has been dismissed for the day.
The seven men and five women have been instructed by the judge to decide whether Billy Midmore is guilty or innocent based only on the evidence they have heard in court.
They will resume their deliberations tomorrow morning.
It follows seven days of evidence in the trial of Midmore, 22, who denies a "joint enterprise" acid attack with his brother Geoffrey of Carla Whitlock outside of Turtle Bay in Guildhall Square on September 18 last year.
Geoffrey Midmore, 26 has admitted to one charge of causing GBH with intent while his brother has denied the same charge.
