A TEENAGER has been charged after a taxi driver was stabbed in a late-night attack.
Police launched an investigation after the incident, which happened at about 3.15am on September 2.
In total three people have been arrested following the attack in Albert Road, Southsea.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with affray, possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, wounding with intent, and possession of cannabis.
He is due to appear at South East Hampshire Magistrates' Court this morning.
A 19-year-old man from Portsmouth, who was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and a 20-year-old man from Southsea, who was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent, remain under investigation.
