Among the cases heard at Southampton Magistrates Court were:

  • Luke Charlie Smith, 21, of Cunningham Gardens, Hamble. Pleaded guilty to trespassing on Guys Farm, Ringwood, with intent to steal. Community order made, fined £50 and ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Artur Marcin Podeszwa, 44, of Howard Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Community order made and ordered to carry out 220 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for 29 months.
  • Balbir Singh Punia, 75, of Oak View House, Mortimers Lane, Upham. Pleaded guilty to speeding. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge. Driving licence endorsed with three points.
  • Antony Clive Plumridge, 66, of Braehead, Dibden Purlieu. Found guilty of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour, causing harassment or distress. Community order made and ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work. Restraining order made. Ordered to pay £400 costs and £85 victim surcharge.
  • Terry James Conley, 39, of Tavistock Close, Romsey. Pleaded guilty to failing to notify Test Valley Borough Council of a change of circumstance which would affect Housing Benefit entitlement. Community order made and ordered to carry out 120 hours unpaid work and £85 victim surcharge, and £85 costs.
  • Kristian Jackson, 44, of Selsdon Avenue, Romsey. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Fined £369 and ordered to pay £36 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.
  • Samuel Lee, 22, of Haddon Close, Fareham. Pleaded guilty to drink driving on the M27. Fined £175 and ordered to pay £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 20 months.
  • Damian Michael Marchant, 27, of Tankerville Road, Woolston. Pleaded guilty to drink driving and driving without insurance on a moped. Community order made and fined £50. Ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 23 months.
  • Leonard Phillip Warner, 62, of Queens Terrace, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving without insurance. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Leon Kieron Terry Clarke, 31, of Clarendon Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Community order made and ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work. Made to pay £150 compensation.
  • Ashley John Darley, 25, of no fixed address. Pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour and failing to surrender to custody. Fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
  • Scott Henry Hattam, 22, of Tylecroft Road, Croydon. Pleaded guilty to drunk and disorderly behaviour and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour on Above Bar Street. Community order made and ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work. Ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Dominic James Frampton, 36, of Porchester Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to being in charge of a vehicle whilst unfit through drink. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with ten points.
  • Sandra Anne Mulliss, 52, of Addis Square, Portswood Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen. Fined £240 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with ten points.
  • Gurvinder Singh Taak, 32, of Chilworth Road, Chilworth. Pleaded guilty to drink driving and failing to stop after an accident. Community order made and ordered to carry out 90 hours of unpaid work. Ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 17 months.
  • Adam Steer, 27, of Newlands Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to damaging the back window of a car. Discharged conditionally for 24 months. Compensation of £150. Costs £150.
  • Dave Mario Williams, 34, of Bassett Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to damaging a mobile phone with the intend to destroy it. Community order made including rehabilitation activity requirement and 60 hours of unpaid works. Victim surcharge £85. Costs £85.
  • Adam Mathew Whitcher, 26, of Thorness Close, Millbrook was fined £200 for driving without insurance.Victim surcharge £30. Disqualified from obtaining a driving licence for six months. Driving record endorsed with six points.

  • David Jonathan Doughty, 60, of Hut Farm Place, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and obstructing a police officer, breaching a suspended sentence. Committed to prison for 26 weeks . Also found guilty of driving while disqualified and failing to stop after an accident and failing to report it. Also found guilty of driving the vehicle in an unsuitable condition following the accident, as well as driving without insurance. Committed to prison for 26 weeks consecutive and disqualified from driving for five yearsand ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge.
