CASH, jewels and a magnum of bubbly was taken during a burglary on a home while the householders were out working.
The thief smashed through a back door opening into the kitchen of a home in Moorgreen Road in West End , before pocketing £400 in cash plus jewellery, including one item with a gold frog sitting on a chair, as well as taking a bottle of Champagne.
A 56-year-old man and a 52 year-old woman discovered the raid when they got home. The raid was sometime between 2.30pm and 3.40pm on Wednesday, August 1.
